Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. seeks a Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader to help fulfill our mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. This is a full-time role working with store management to develop sales, recruit new teammates, and provide leadership.

You will perform sales, merchandising, and operations duties, mentor new teammates, and help recruit and train others. Expect leadership across the sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend and locate merchandise based on guest needs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to guests and teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Lead by example with showmanship and customer service across the store.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and development of teammates.
• Ensure visual standards and store cleanliness, safety, and orderliness.
