Job summary

PUMA Group is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our Elizabeth, NJ location. You will deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and help maintain store standards in line with brand values.

You will support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, payroll, scheduling, and inventory control while working non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at $21.92–$24.92 per hour plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear).
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals, demonstrated ability to reason through complex issues, ability to present information to large groups.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of customer experience within the store according to PUMA’s Brand Values.
• Help store achieve or exceed sales, KPIs and profitability through planning, scheduling and service.
• Assist Store Manager with recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Handle payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maintain profitability while delivering service.
• Manage merchandise opportunities and communicate with Store/Assistant Store Manager.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink control, manage counts.
• Process incoming and outgoing merchandise and ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all Policies & Procedures and maintain a safe, compliant working environment.
• Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
