Job summary

Guest Services in Big Sur, CA is seeking a Retail Supervisor to assist the Retail Manager with floor operations, staff supervision, and inventory control. You will supervise a team, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain cash handling standards in a busy retail environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask. This position is full-time and on-site at our Big Sur location, with responsibilities including opening/closing

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Bachelor’s or Business Degree preferred.
At least 1–2 years of retail experience.
Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
Ability to organize and coordinate multiple priorities; lead a team; solve problems.

Responsibilities

Ensure complete guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints per customer service standards.
Supervise setup and maintenance of the retail area and cashier stations.
Process sales in the POS accurately and efficiently; assist clerks.
Assist in recruiting, scheduling, supervising, and directing staff; train hourly staff.
Maintain safe facility environment; monitor equipment, inventory, housekeeping, and cash control.
Assist in inventory procedures and stocking merchandise; set displays.
Perform opening and/or closing procedures; report safety or quality issues to manager.
Support the Retail Manager with Summer Adventure Operations and other duties as assigned.
