Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Smyrna location seeks a Retail Sales Floor Team Lead to elevate shopper experience and uphold brand standards. You will supervise front end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and store presentation while coaching teammates to deliver friendly, efficient service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, mission alignment, and adherence to our TRUE Core Values. Flexible scheduling including weekends may be required to meet store priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in business, Logistics, Management, or related field preferred.
• One to two years of experience in production, warehouse, retail, or logistics environments required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front End operations including registers, queue management, exchanges, and resolving register issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, branded sales floor per Goodwill standards and visual guidelines.
• Greet shoppers promptly and provide friendly, respectful service; assist with questions and returns/exchanges.
• Support opening/closing activities and ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance across the store.
• Coach and develop team members, communicate daily priorities, and model core values.
