Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Retail Sales Floor Team Lead in Mt. Juliet, TN. The role focuses on elevating shopper experience with on-floor leadership, cash operations, merchandising, and store readiness.

You will guide front end and sales floor activities, ensuring accurate transactions and friendly service. You will train new team members, maintain brand standards, and support daily operations to meet KPIs and community mission goals.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills to support clear, respectful interactions with shoppers and team members.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast paced front end environment.
• Ability to learn and consistently follow established processes, systems, equipment use, and operating procedures.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop team members in operational procedures and production standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front End operations, including registers, queue management, exchanges, and addressing register issues.
• Train and onboard new front end team members on register procedures and shopper service standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor per Goodwill standards.
• Support opening/closing activities and ensure safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree preferred
