Job summary

The Kentucky Lottery Corporation in Louisville is seeking a Retail Financial Operations Specialist to support prize validations, accounts payable, retailer licensing, and billing for the lottery network. This role helps ensure compliance with state/federal reporting and supports efficient business processes for players and retailers.

You will collaborate with Legal, Revenue, and Sales departments to manage retailer accounts, vendor payments, and licensing compliance, while aiding in policy

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of accounting experience in a computerized environment, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
• Experience in retail accounting or bookkeeping is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Teams; knowledge of ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal tax withholding and reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Hightly organized with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process claim information and respond to retailer/player inquiries.
• Complete accounts payable responsibilities and process ProCard transactions.
• Monitor retailer billing and coordinate with Legal and Revenue on collections.
• Assist with licensing procedures and reporting.
• Support policy development and daily task organization.
