Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a field technician to support 5-6 retail stores in the Mesquite, TX area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial RTUs and split systems, plus general maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.

A company vehicle, gas card, tools, iPad and iPhone are provided. Responsibilities include day-to-day repairs, reviewing work orders, estimating time and materials, ordering supplies, using CMMS to track

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of related experience or trade school training.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to operate a full-size van/truck and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance on commercial systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and order supplies.
• Lead troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, roofs, and drains.
• Inspect new installations for code compliance and safety.
• Oversee work by outside contractors and maintain lighting systems.
