Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mobile Engineer to perform facility maintenance on retail sites in the Manchester area. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs, supported by a fully equipped vehicle, tools, fuel card, and branded uniform.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED with 4–5 years of relevant experience, plus Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to CBRE standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; relevant trade school acceptable with experience.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems for the facility to keep building systems up to standards as assigned.
• Review inspections of building including HVAC, plumbing and electrical to ensure operation within design capabilities and environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills in reviewing work orders, estimating completion times and materials needed.
• Maintain truck stock inventory to ensure adequate supplies and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance work orders to ensure machinery and systems meet or exceed rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
• Apply knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex tasks and provide solutions.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
