Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead in the absence of the Store Manager and drive key performance metrics. You will partner with the Store Manager to develop the team, maintain store standards, and deliver strong customer experiences in a fast-paced optical retail environment.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1+ year of supervisory experience, and solid knowledge of retail operations. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high-level of selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality & improvement to exceed all KPI targets (e.g., comps, conversion, exam growth).
• Translates retail insights into positive sales and market understanding.
• Supports store business plans to maximize sales & profit.
• Partners with Store Manager to lead & develop the team.
• Delivers constructive feedback and supports development.
• Executes visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive relationships with doctors and staff.
• Promotes policy compliance and performs admin duties.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights & weekends.
