Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Assistant Manager to act as a leader in the Store Manager's absence and drive key performance metrics. You will model business ownership, oversee daily operations, and guide a team to deliver exceptional customer care in eyewear retail.

The role emphasizes coaching, sales leadership, and maintaining store presentation while collaborating with doctors and partners to meet plan objectives. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Strong command of English for written & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high level of selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and support the Store Manager.
• Drive KPIs: sales, conversions, customer counts, traffic and profitability.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and coach the team.
• Provide timely feedback and support development.
• Ensure visual standards and store appearance meet brand guidelines.
• Maintain positive relationships with doctors and staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Handle administrative duties and flexible scheduling, including nights/weekends.
