Job summary

Fleet Feet in Asheville, NC is seeking an Assistant Retail Experience Manager to lead daily operations, coach Outfitters, and deliver a world-class customer journey on the sales floor.

You’ll partner with the Operating Partner to energize the team, manage scheduling, onboarding, and development, and drive high-performance store results while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to lead by example on the sales floor with energy and care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer experience.
• Proven ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and floor operations.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of Outfitters to maintain service quality.
• Lead on the sales floor, delivering the Fleet Feet outfitting experience with enthusiasm.
• Act as shift leader, direct floor operations and provide real-time coaching.
• Foster a high-performance culture with recognition and accountability.
• Communicate clearly across the team to align goals and priorities.
• Assist with scheduling, store events, and operational execution.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment.
