Goodwill of Silicon Valley in Gilroy, CA is seeking a part-time Retail Customer Service Specialist I to greet customers, handle cash, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor. Learn store operations while delivering friendly service and supporting merchandise presentation.

You will assist with inventory, price adjustments, and participate in the round-up and CAP surveys, following all policies and safety procedures.

Formación

• Knowledge of general arithmetic (adding/subtracting) is required.
• Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with others.
• Retail sales and/or cash handling experience strongly desired.
• Basic ability to read and write in English.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and provide courteous customer service.
• Operate cash register and handle sales transactions.
• Assist with inventory, merchandising and price adjustments on the sales floor.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize back room stock and displays.
• Follow store policies and safety procedures; report issues to management.
• Encourage customers to participate in round-up and Customer Ambassador Program (CAP) surveys.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic paperwork as needed.
