Job summary

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is hiring a retail associate to perform sales, accept donations, and price items for resale in our stores. You will provide excellent customer service, greet customers, and operate the cash register with accuracy.

You will inspect donated goods for saleability, stock shelves, and maintain displays while following safety and quality standards. Flexible schedules are available for part-time or full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, and customer service preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle donations and merchandise.
• Must pass background checks and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform retail sales functions and accept merchandise donations.
• Select and price donated goods and textiles for resale according to procedures.
• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
• Greet customers and maintain a cheerful disposition.
• Operate cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Inspect textiles, furniture, appliances, and other goods for saleability.
• Receive and handle donated goods from donors and maintain records.
• Stock shelves and maintain displays; assist with inventory and reports.
• Follow safety standards and agency policies; comply with quality controls.
