Job Overview
Retail Display Installer – Technology. Travel up to 90 miles from home. Work Monday–Friday; weekends not required. This role involves installing, updating, and repairing retail fixtures for leading technology brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP.
Responsibilities
- Respond within 24 hours of contact to field services management and accurately update availability.
- Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates, including installing and building displays, end caps, and fixtures.
- Complete all necessary forms, photos, and surveys before leaving the job site.
- Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
- Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures remain fully functional.
- Participate in early‑morning installations, often in teams of two or more, and provide solution feedback.
- Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
- Adhere to timelines for accurate time‑card submission and report anomalies daily with needed corrections.
- Work independently in a fast‑paced environment and complete training and certification programs.
- Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
- Be available for weekend assignments as needed and accommodate occasional early‑morning hours or holidays.
Qualifications
- Age 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Flexible availability Monday through Friday, with additional weekend, holiday, early‑morning, and late‑night availability as required.
- Physical ability to climb ladders up to 10 feet, lift up to 60 lbs, kneel, walk, crouch, bend, grasp, and reach overhead.
- Proficient communication skills via phone, text, and e‑mail; use a smartphone to clock in/out, upload photos, download applications, and connect to the internet.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or merchandising experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Installation and merchandising experience preferred, with proficiency in hand and power tools and following planogram directives.
- Own a compatible Android or Apple mobile device to upload photos and navigate communication platforms.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation capable of traveling up to 90 miles per assignment.
- Strong leadership and professional communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions, and manage time effectively.
- Completion of all training assignments and tasks within designated time frames.
