Job Type: Per Required Need | Work Location: Market - SS - AL - Montgomery | Travel: Up to 90 miles from home (average) | Pay: Hourly $16.25+, next‑day pay on demand with DailyPay | Schedule: Monday–Friday (weekends not required) | Mileage reimbursement provided. 2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated Field Service Representative to join our team and represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps.
- Performing build‑outs, resets, and display repairs.
- Following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives.
- Respond rapidly and consistently to field services management communications (within 24 hours).
- Keep availability accurate and updated.
- Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
- Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys for each assignment before leaving the job site.
- Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
- Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
- Participate in early‑morning installations and any installation involving a team of 2+ people, providing solution feedback.
- Manage virtual software to ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
- Contribute to the team's success by assisting other members as needed.
- Adhere to timelines and submit accurate timecards, reporting anomalies daily with needed corrections.
- Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Participate and complete training and certification programs.
- Accurately track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
- Be available for weekend assignments when required.
- Schedule and plan hours and locations, which may vary week to week, including occasional weekends; early‑morning hours and holidays may apply.
- Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
- Execute all directives fully and completely.
- Collaborate closely within the shared services team to ensure goals, identify improvement opportunities, communicate and drive solutions while ensuring operational efficiencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the shared services team: local/regional markets, clients, retailers, and other stakeholders.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, retailers, and field representatives, fostering collaboration and communication.
- Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication skills, and strong leadership abilities while representing the company; set high standards, foster a positive work environment, and ensure respectful communication with all team members.
- Work across all aspects of the company and through cross‑functional processes to ensure alignment and operational success.
- Ensure customer and client satisfaction is met and continually improved upon according to established shared service field KPIs; be open to providing and receiving feedback.
Qualifications
- Age 18 or older (due to insurance requirements).
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Flexible availability Monday through Friday; weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late nights may be required.
- Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
- Physical: climb a ladder up to 10 feet; lift and carry up to 60 lbs; kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.
- Adaptability to adjust to varying tasks and work environments.
- Effective communication via phone, text, and email; coordinate tasks and provide updates.
- Use a smartphone for various tasks including clocking in/out, taking and uploading photos, downloading applications, and connecting to the internet.
- Respond rapidly and consistently to field services management communications (within 24 hours).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial.
- Preferred installation and merchandising experience; proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow planogram (POG) directives and secondary communication.
- Own an Android or Apple mobile device to upload photos and data.
- Navigate various communication platforms and applications independently.
- Complete all training assignments and tasks within a designated time frame.
- Work collaboratively and autonomously.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; willing and able to travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment.
- Superior leadership skills and strong professional communication and presentation skills; sound decision‑making, good judgment, problem‑solving.
- Work autonomously with excellent time management and reporting skills.
