Job summary

Rural King Farm and Home Store is seeking a Department Lead to oversee a busy department, ensure inventory accuracy, and maintain engaging product displays. You will monitor stock levels, execute price changes, and support front-end activities while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

2+ years of retail experience with knowledge of department.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to listen, ask questions, and respond clearly.
Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
Comfort with ambiguity and rapid problem solving.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work with customers and colleagues professionally.
Flexibility to work 40 hours with varied shifts.

Responsibilities

Oversee scanning outs, inventory management, recovery, price changes, planogram sets.
Maintain neat, organized department and appealing displays.
Monitor inventory with stock counts and reconciliation.
Coordinate pricing and signage with relevant teams.
Implement playbook features and planogram sets per guidelines.
Provide friendly, proactive customer service and assist inquiries.
