Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to drive efficient store operations in your assigned department, including inventory counts, pricing updates, planograms, cleanliness, and displays that meet company standards.

You will deliver friendly customer service, assist with front-end tasks, operate equipment, and participate in cross-training. The position offers a 40-hour week with varied shifts and pays $17.50 to $21.35 per hour, with overtime eligibility as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail or department leadership.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
• Good problem-solving and quick decision-making.
• Attention to detail in inventory, pricing, and signage.
• Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the indoor merchandising guide and maintain consistent displays.
• Monitor inventory levels with regular stock counts and replenishment.
• Oversee the recovery process to keep the department neat and inviting.
• Coordinate price changes and update signage as required.
• Manage planogram implementations and product placement per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions in the department.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with inquiries and product locations.
• Support front-end operations with transactions or loadouts as needed.
• Operate store equipment and participate in cross-training across departments.
