Job summary

Michaels in Towson, MD is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience at the Towson store. You will help with unloading trucks, stocking, and keeping the store well-merchandised and in-stock while promoting rewards programs and credit options.

The role involves working evenings, weekends, and early mornings, with opportunity for growth and benefits as outlined by Michaels.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store appearance with in-stock merchandise and recoveries.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
