Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help run daily store operations and support customers. You will assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment while being cross-trained to support cash register front-end duties as needed.

You will lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk frequently, and deliver friendly, professional service. The role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and strong math for cash handling in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
