Job summary

Lowe's Customer Service Associate in Carlisle, PA, welcomes customers and helps them find products and services for home improvement. You’ll engage with shoppers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure requests are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Departments include Appliances, Hardware, Flooring, and more. As a part-time associate, you may rotate across departments, receive training, and participate in Lowe's benefits program, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer with inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing and sitting.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing shelves where needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department per customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
