Job summary

AlphaGraphics is seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our print and marketing customers. This hybrid role combines front-counter service with phone and email support, plus hands-on help in production when busier moments require it.

You will greet customers, quote and process orders, assist with printing and signage projects, and ensure timely delivery. The position offers a full-time schedule, weekday hours, paid holidays, and on-the-job

Qualifications

• Required Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with reliability and punctuality.
• Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and writing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to assist in production when needed.
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and manage calls/emails promptly and professionally.

• Prepare quotes, enter orders, and process payments accurately.
• Review files for print readiness and communicate issues.
• Follow up on order status, pickups, and deliveries.

• Help with printing, cutting, trimming, binding, laminating, and packaging.
• Load paper, replenish supplies, and keep work areas organized.

About the Role

AlphaGraphics is looking for a dependable, friendly Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our print and marketing customers. This is a hybrid role: you'll handle customer needs at the front counter, by phone, and by email, and when production gets busy, you'll jump in to help the production team keep jobs on schedule.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, and answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right products and services (printing, signage, banners, business cards, brochures, promotional items, etc.)
• Prepare quotes, enter orders, and process payments accurately
• Review customer files for print readiness and communicate any issues
• Follow up on order status, pickups, and deliveries
• Resolve customer concerns with a positive, solution-focused attitude

Production Support

• Assist the production team during peak periods and rush deadlines
• Help with tasks such as printing, cutting, trimming, collating, binding, laminating, packaging, and order staging
• Load paper, replenish supplies, and keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform quality checks to make sure finished jobs match order specifications

Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, reliably and on time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in person, by phone, and in writing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness and ability to assist in production when needed
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, data entry)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent
