Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Fresno store to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products and complete checkout efficiently. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock, well-merchandised shelves.

The role supports omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, follows SOPs, and emphasizes safety and shrink control. Total Base Pay ranges from $16.90 to $19.70 per hour, with overtime eligibility per state laws.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and private label card enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back process and store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
