Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in a store setting. You will welcome customers, assist with product selection, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Daily tasks include answering questions, locating merchandise, loading items when needed, and maintaining organized, well-stocked departments. The role involves varied duties across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, and more, with opportunities to learn and grow through on-the-job training

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic arithmetic
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic understood
• Ability to stand, sit and lift up to 25 lbs; team lifting as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Help customers locate and select products and services
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time arrival
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare merchandise in department (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting, lumber prep)
• Assist customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform other duties as assigned
