Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement. You will engage with customers throughout the day, assist with locating items, and ensure needs are met with friendly, efficient service.

Daily tasks include answering questions, organizing merchandise, and supporting multiple departments as needed. This role includes lifting, standing, and potential cross-training across store areas.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer including inputting or accessing information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic; able to perform basic math tasks.
• Able to stand/sit for extended periods and perform store duties.
• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by scanning shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department per customer needs (e.g., tint paint).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
