Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, efficient service across departments. You will assist with locating merchandise, answer questions, and help customers complete purchases in a fast-paced home improvement store.

The role is part-time, in-store, with duties varying by department. Training and growth opportunities exist through Lowe’s Track to the Trades program, emphasizing customer care and product

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer usage including inputting, accessing, modifying information
• 6 months of using retail technology such as smart phones/tablets
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read/write operations
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as required
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation when needed

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform other duties as assigned
