Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide an excellent shopping experience in Mount Carmel, IL. You will assist customers, operate the register, maintain store cleanliness, stock, and ensure merchandise is readily available.

The role requires good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time position with opportunities to grow within a national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
