Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to support front-end operations and front-line staff, ensuring a positive shopping experience for donors and customers. You will work with store leadership to maximize sales, train associates, oversee opening and closing, cash handling, and ensure policies are followed.

This non-exempt role requires flexibility, strong communication, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent); prior retail experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems or cash handling.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well with customers, donors and staff.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings; open to shifts as needed.
• Integrity and strong work ethic; able to follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales through proper rotation, displays, signage and inventory.
• Meet or exceed sales goals on a consistent basis.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, donors and employees.
• Train and develop sales associates and ensure merchandising guidelines are followed.
• Complete paperwork accurately, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Support staff, enforce policies, and communicate procedures.
• Open and close the store as assigned; participate in candidate interviews for entry level roles.
• Assist with associate evaluations and act as backup to Customer Service Manager as needed.
• Ensure asset protection policies are followed and report issues to leadership.
• Support programs and events; contribute to additional tasks as needed.
• Promote workplace safety and communicate progress and concerns to the Store Manager.
