Job summary

Michaels Stores in Laconia, NH is seeking a store team member to help customers locate products, provide friendly checkout, and participate in merchandising and omni-channel processes. You will assist with truck unload, stocking, and planograms, while maintaining in-store efficiency and a positive customer experience.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, with ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with standard cash handling.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Support Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and in-stock maintenance.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties.
• Support shrink control and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; maintain a positive store image.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling/production.
• Other duties as assigned.
