Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate for a part-time role across daily store operations. You will help customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and rest areas; ensure all areas are neat and presentable.
