Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and help with stocking and replenishment to maintain store productivity.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, safe cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organized store. Part-time hours support flexible scheduling and opportunities to engage with the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
