Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Stratford, CT is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, handle sales transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store well-stocked and clean.

This part-time role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You will work with a friendly team to ensure safe, courteous service and smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
