Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Danbury, CT is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
