Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and keeping the store clean and safe.

The position is part-time and located at 986 S Eufaula Ave, Eufaula, AL 36027-2608. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior retail or service experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive walking, standing, kneeling, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned*.
