Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist with questions, handle transactions, and help maintain store conditions.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and effective communication in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time position with opportunities to engage customers and contribute to store success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drugstore environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash; ensure neat areas.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
