Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and help maintain a safe, clean store environment.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and prior retail or customer service experience. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods, with friendly, professional interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
