Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., seeks a store associate to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience, maintain store standards, and support operations. The role may involve cross-training across areas to assist the business.

You will engage customers, process transactions, promote loyalty programs, and help keep the store clean and organized while adhering to safety and loss-prevention guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising standards and procedures.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following procedures.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store.
• Provides and accepts feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws and store policies.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
