Job summary

Irving Oil is seeking a Retail Associate to greet customers and deliver exceptional service with courteous, outstanding support, and to back up team members during every interaction.

Responsibilities include promoting brand standards, handling inquiries, scanning products, processing payments, managing cash and audits, stocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for transactions and balancing cash.
• Attention to detail in handling payments and receipts.
• Customer service skills to greet and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the brand and “The Irving” customer experience standards.
• Greet customers, including answering phones, provide customers with courteous, high-level service.
• Scan products and process all payments according to standard procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints per policies and procedures.
• Keep track of cash/credit transactions and perform daily/weekly/monthly audits.
• Assist with store maintenance and stocking shelves as needed.
