Job summary

Irving Oil is seeking a Retail Associate to greet customers and deliver exceptional service with courteous, outstanding support, and to back up team members during every interaction.

Responsibilities include promoting brand standards, handling inquiries, scanning products, processing payments, managing cash and audits, stocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance to ensure a positive customer experience.

• Keep track of cash/credit transactions and perform daily/weekly/monthly audits.
• Assist with store maintenance and stocking shelves as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the brand and “The Irving” customer experience standards

• Greet customers, including answering phones, provides clients with the highest level of customer service that is uniquely Irving demonstrated through a courteous demeanor, and outstand service

• Scan products, receive and process all payment transactions according to standard procedures and helping customers use processing equipment

• Handle customer inquiries or complaints in line with policies and procedures

• Keep track of all cash/ credit transactions, count cash intake and perform audits (daily, weekly, and monthly) ensuring cash/ credit intake equals receipts

• Assist in keeping the maintenance of the store and stocking shelves as needed

Your Skills:

Your Experience:

• 2 years in a customer service role

• G.E.D or equivalent

The expected hourly range for this position is $28.50-$31.50. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
