Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Westminster, CA, to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will help customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and assist with unloading trucks while keeping the store clean and safe.

This part-time position requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. A friendly, professional demeanor and adherence to procedures are essential in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
