Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join the team and deliver a great shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking, unloading merchandise, and keeping the store clean and safe.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned*.
