Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC in Lorain, OH is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a welcoming shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, restock shelves, and help unload trucks while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and be capable of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment to productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
