Job summary

Family Dollar in Jeffersonville, Kentucky is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, keep shelves stocked, and help with receiving merchandise.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), strong customer service and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a part-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restocked bathrooms, floors swept and mopped, trash removed.
