Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Kentucky to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store security and cleanliness.

The role requires physical stamina for lifting and standing, with a focus on accurate cash handling and friendly service. This part-time position emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and adherence to store procedures while supporting stocking and merchandise presentation to meet daily

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience in a store, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; restock to productivity standards.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
