Job summary

Family Dollar in Kentucky is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, manage stock, and help unload trucks while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs. This is a part-time position located at 8708 Ky Hwy 7, Viper, Kentucky 41774.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful store environment.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
