Family Dollar in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized.

You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions, unload trucks, replenish stock, and contribute to a safe, friendly environment. High school diploma preferred; lifting 30-50 lbs and frequent walking required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or service industry preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
