Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Atlantic Beach, FL store to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and help unload trucks while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Candidate should have a high school diploma (preferred) and prior retail/customer service experience. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent movement throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment
• Other duties as assigned
