Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Bessemer, AL. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, stock shelves, receive and unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

You’ll interact professionally with customers and team members while supporting daily store operations. This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash and assets security.
• Keep the store stocked and merchandised.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Create a positive, safe and friendly environment for customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
