Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Pitt-Wm Penn Hwy location to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find what they need, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. Team members unload trucks, stock merchandise, and keep the store well-presented and in stock.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling POS transactions to standards, promoting the Rewards program and credit card enrollments, participating in omnichannel processes, and supporting safety and loss prevention

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planograms (POGs).
• Maintain merchandise recovery, stock, and general store recovery to stay in stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies.
