Job summary

Michaels is hiring at its Bethel Park store for a customer-focused associate. You will greet shoppers, help them find products, and ensure fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.

You’ll promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments while assisting with omnichannel orders and in-store pickup. The role covers stocking, planograms, merchandise recovery, and store recovery to keep an inviting, well-stocked environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Experience with rewards programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance
• Interact with others respectfully; promote company vision and values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
