Family Dollar Stores Of Maryland LLC in Taneytown, MD is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

This is a part-time position requiring reliable communication and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer a supportive team, flexible hours, and opportunities for growth as you help

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
